I love thee for your warmth, cushion and might
My feet feel cold, when stepping out of sight
The end of day is far too far away.
I love the to the fall of every step
Most quiet nights, from noise to aid my rest.
Your lovely tones bring life into my nest
And liven up my home with zealous pep.
I love thee for your ease when time to cleanse
And for the way that you defend my home.
From you I never ever wish to roam
Because dear cork you calm and bring me Zen.
Comfort, splendor and ease you give
While in my home together we shall live.
